ESSC Club Racing
As a club ESSC currently have two days a week set aside for racing which is Wednesday and Saturday afternoons and depending on the weather and time of year should allow for up to four races each day; however what is a surprise to many when they first find themselves out in the calm Mediterranean seas is just how wild it can actually be. Once the sea breeze wakes up so do the waves and can make for some exciting racing.
Either of these afternoons almost any time of year we have racers battling the elements and conditions with a good fleet of both private and club Laser 1's, 2000's, RS Visions as well as a healthy group of Pico sailors that can still have their own thrills out within our waters.
The ESSC sailing year has traditionally been split into periods, each one corresponding to a Club Race Series of which more information can be fond here.
